[KGSP] Part 5 - NIIED 2nd Round Announcement

After such a long wait since the last Embassy round announcement, finally today is the 2nd round announcement day by NIIED. So we were informed that the result will be out after 6pm (Korea Time) so I was anxiously working from home, waiting for the announcement to be posted on NIIED's website studyinkorea.go.kr

I refreshed the page from time to time since 5pm (Korea Time) just in case. Then I finally saw a new post 10mins before said time. IT WAS THE ANNOUNCEMENT! Normally, I wouldn't dare to read the result by my own because it is too scary for me (I guess it was that important to me so hence the nerves). But this time, it was after such a long wait and I was like "You know what, just read it, just click the link, download the file, search Malaysia and OMGGGGG my name is in there!"

The result of 2nd round is OUT!

Yeah that was basically how my monologue went. Thank god my name was on the list. It was a HUGE relief for me. Although the next round is supposedly to be the most anxious part where I will get to know which university will choose me, but still, it was a healthy heart attack for now.

So nice to see familiar names on the list! My interview buddies! Congratulations to all of you too

So anytime between tomorrow (17th May 2019) to 11th June 2019, we should be expecting either phone calls or emails from our respective universities on the admission.

While waiting, all successful candidates of the second round is required to complete a full medical checkup and shall send the medical result + passport copy back to NIIED by the said deadline. And we shall also notify NIIED our final choice of university IF there is more than one university of our choice has chosen us for admission.

I guess my next blog post shall be an update on my medical checkup and also university admissions. All the best to me. I'm just gonna go pray hard.
